About CLL Recruitment

We were set up to do a narrower job than most agencies advertise. The Midlands already has firms that can flood a vacancy. It has fewer that will sit with a hiring principal, write down the politics of the hire, and then refuse to pad a slate for the sake of looking busy.

Search work happens in conversation and on paper. Live roles are discussed with the people they concern. We do not run a public jobs board as a substitute for that discipline.

Consultants own their searches from the first sitting through the early weeks in post. Fees are agreed in a letter. We do not discount our way onto a volume list that treats partners as inventory.

The firm is registered in Derby. That is not a London vanity address — it is where the company sits, and where East Midlands employers can reach us without theatre.
